Switching Energy Suppliers

We also asked “Are you more likely to switch supplier(s) now? What is your biggest concern about switching supplier(s) at the moment? Comments from parents included:

“Would definitely consider switching to another supplier now. The environmental impacts and fear of shortages of gas are reasons we are thinking of changing.”

“I’ll switch if I can get a cheaper cost once my contract is up and if they have a level pay option. Level pay is most important to me for budgeting.”

“For me I find all the different price plans etc confusing to read so that usually puts me off switching. I always have good intentions about switching but the reality is that it takes me ages to actually do it. My biggest concern is trying to get the best price as will be locked in to that supplier for at least 12 months.”

“Looked at switching supplier but ended up staying with my existing supplier as they had an existing customer retention plan which was cheaper than my current plan! They are also renewable energy which is important to me.”

“I often switch when someone comes to door and shows me the cheapest rate.
