Revive Active Discover Why and When Parents Give Vitamins and Supplements To Their Children

We ran a tailored insights project for Irish supplements retailer Revive Active to get them feedback from parents to help them better understand their habits when it comes to kids’ vitamin and supplements and get honest insights on parents’ perceptions of their products.

The Challenge

Revive Active wanted to get consumer feedback for their kids’ and teens’ supplements to help with marketing, packaging and planning decisions. In particular to understand how and what influences parents around giving their child/teen vitamins and supplements.

They needed to find out what parents thought, and to drill into their opinions on various aspects of supporting their child’s / teen’s immunity and general wellbeing alongside a healthy diet.

What We Did

We ran a 2 day panel of 20 parents around Ireland with children aged 5 to 18 years. In addition, we ran a month long survey and achieved 900 responses.

We asked them to answer questions, share their opinions and give detailed commentary around vitamins and supplements.

At the end of the project we delivered actionable insights and recommendations along with anonymised verbatim data that Revive Active could use for further analysis.

Outcomes

As with all our insights projects, this tailored group of parents were happy and willing to give feedback and their opinion. As well as insights on why and when parents give vitamins and supplements to their children the project also delivered key learnings about:

  • The brand
  • Opportunities to connect with target consumers and what key messages will resonate
  • Potential things that Revive Active can do to increase connection and sales
  • Other ideas to develop to support parents with family wellbeing
