Why This Content Works

1. We use an emotional term in the title

Using an emotional term “Feel-Good” helped interest parents. They wanted content to help comfort during an uncertain time.

2. It helps solve a problem

Parents are always on the lookout for ways to keep the kids amused, then during the enforced time at home this became even more imperative.

3. A strong choice for lead image

We picked a lead image that showed a family laughing together, something to appeal and be positive.

And how do parents feel about Family Entertainment?

In our recent Insights report about parents and family entertainment, one parent said “I would be scared just at the moment to take the kids to the cinema, especially going to see a popular film, as it will be hard to social distance in a confined space.”

In our recent Insights studies about parents and their views on family entertainment, it turns out

  • We had seen a 67% rise in views of our family entertainment content on Mykidstime.com.
  • We got great engagement on our Pinterest Channel – our list of 50 Best Family Movies had 375k views and 1.8k people saved the pin.
